Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you buy from Breed & Birch. If anything here is unclear, email us before you buy.

Who we are

Breed & Birch is a trading name of Realtime Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11073804. Our registered office and trading address is Sunrise, Chawston Lane, Chawston, Bedford MK44 3BH, United Kingdom. VAT number GB 300 1910 71.

Email info@breedandbirch.shop. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Realtime Tech Ltd, and “you” means the person buying.

How we use your personal data is explained in Privacy & cookies.

Cookies and advertising. When you use the shop we use Meta’s advertising cookies and tools (the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API) to measure and improve our adverts, as Privacy & cookies explains. You can turn them off at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the shop page; the shop works the same either way.

What you’re buying

Each decoration is laser-cut from birch plywood and engraved with the name you give us, on the design you choose. The page shows each design’s size and a preview of your pet’s name in the engraving lettering.

How ordering works

  1. Choose dog or cat, type your pet’s name and pick a design. The preview shows the result.
  2. Add more pets if you like.
  3. Tap Buy. In the payment step, check the names, the delivery service, the address and the total.
  4. Confirm the payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or your card.
  5. We show your order confirmation and email it to you.

Until you confirm the payment, you can change any name, design or pet on the page, or close the payment step without paying. We keep a record of your order, and your confirmation email links to your order page. We sell in English only.

Our contract starts when your payment goes through and we show your order confirmation.

Names

Prices and payment

No cancelling for a change of mind

The law usually gives you 14 days to cancel an online order. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, that right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Every decoration is engraved with the name you give us, so you can’t cancel your order, or return a decoration, because you’ve changed your mind. You can still change the names for 60 minutes after paying.

Delivery

Delivery & returns explains the Christmas last order dates and what to do if your order hasn’t arrived.

If something is wrong

If a decoration arrives damaged or faulty, or isn’t what you ordered (for example, the name isn’t the one you confirmed), email us your order number and a photo. We’ll make a new one and post it at our cost, or refund you, whichever you prefer. You don’t need to send it back unless we ask; if we do, we pay the postage.

We refund to the card or wallet you paid with, within 14 days of agreeing the refund.

We must supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015). Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. For free advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

Product safety

Decoration, not a toy. Contains small parts. Keep away from children under 3 and from pets. Indoor use.

Our responsibility for loss or damage

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaking your legal rights in relation to the goods.

Complaints

If you’re not happy with anything, email info@breedandbirch.shop with your order number. A person reads every message and answers.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also bring them in Scotland; if you live in Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in Northern Ireland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to your order.
